Q: Can I request a timed delivery or have a parcel delivered at the weekend?
A: All of our pricing includes a Next Day delivery service within the UK Mainland, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm). A timed or Saturday morning delivery is available for an extra delivery surcharge. Q: Will you always deliver on the date requested?
A: During the Christmas period we will attempt to deliver on the date requested. However, due to the large demand for our service at this time of year we may opt to deliver prior to the date requested so that any problems can be remedied before Christmas Day. Over the remainder of the year we will do everything in our power to deliver on the day requested.
Q: Do you deliver any of your products to the USA?
A: Unfortunatly we are unable to deliver goods outwith the EU. This is due to strict custom restraints on Alcohol and Food items.
Q: How do you package perishables like the mail order smoked salmon? I would like to place an order but I am worried about it going off in transit.
A: All smoked salmon is vacuum packed and is freshly prepared on the date on despatch. Our smoked salmon for mail order is despatched using a chilled poly envelope so that it remains cool in transit.
Payment
Q: I am worried about entering my credit card details online. Is it secure?
A: Highland Fayre provides a secure online payment system through Commidea Ltd who are a leading UK company in this field. The purchaser should see a solid padlock in their browser status bar which indicates that the credit card details are being encrypted using protocol 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the strongest commercially available level of encryption.
Q: I would like to order a hamper but I do not have a credit card. Can I make payment using a cheque?
A: Full payment is required before your order can be despatched. We do accept cheques, however, we need to receive the cheque prior to the despatch of goods.
Complaints/Customer Service
Q: Who do I contact if I have a complaint?

Q: What if the gift hamper is damaged in transit?
A: If the goods are damaged, then the purchaser should contact Highland Fayre within 3 working days.
Cancellations
Q: I want to cancel my order. What do I need to do?

Does the "delivery required by" field on the order sheet mean it will be delivered ON that day or BY that day? As I would like a delivery on a specific date, is that where I enter it? Sorry if that sounds obvious, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks 'Delivery Required by' means the day that you would like to be delivered.
